Dadiani Palaces

Modern look residence Megrelian rulers of the genus Dadian acquired in the XIX century. The museum was founded in 1849. Today, the palace complex is surrounded by magnificent gardens, and the museum has collected more than 41,000 pieces of rare samples of the world and the Georgian national culture. Among them - the ancient gold mask icon of the Georgian Queen Tamara, Tagilonsky treasure of the 1st millennium BC, one of the three death masks of Napoleon.
